I have a ton of repair photographs, and I'll take a set of photos of the car before we sell it.

Most of the series of pictures don't have captions, but someone wanted to see the dashboard pictures, so I'm putting the site up before it is ready.

This series of photos is of a CD player installation. Since the standard VW tape player is designed to work with special speakers, there was some extra work involved. I basically removed the amplifiers from the special speakers. This operation turned them into 'normal' speakers.
 
VW Cabriolet, CD player, radio, installThis is the CD player adapter from Crutchfield. I had to cut an extra hole in the top to allow access to a screw in the dashboard. The hole is shown in these images in the top of the adapter. It is necessary to preserve access to that screw in order to remove the dashboard trim to change instrument cluster lights.
